Terms of Service
Everything you need to know about our service standards, delivery commitments, and user responsibilities.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Facout platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of Facout constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Description of Service
Facout provides a specialized export and delivery service for Afro-centric grocery items, primarily sourcing from Nigeria and delivering to the United Kingdom, USA, and Canada. We act as a facilitator between high-quality local producers and international consumers, managing the complex logistics of cross-border food transport.
3. Orders & Pricing
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are dynamically calculated based on current market rates and international exchange rates. While we strive for accuracy, errors may occur. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund. Payment is required in full at the time of order through our secured gateways (Paystack, Flutterwave, or Stripe).
4. Shipping & Delivery
We offer two primary delivery models: Hub Pickup (at designated collection points) and Home Delivery. Our delivery timeline is typically 5-10 business days. While we work with reliable logistics partners, delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by customs inspections, carrier issues, or incorrect address information provided by the user.
5. Perishables & Returns
Due to the perishable nature of gourmet food items and the complexity of international shipping, all sales are final once an order has been processed for shipment. We do not accept returns. If an item arrives significantly damaged or incorrect, you must report it to us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence for review.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
Orders delivered internationally may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. You are responsible for the payment of any such additional charges. Facout has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
7. User Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate recipient information, including a valid phone number and email address. If a delivery fails due to incorrect information or refusal to accept the package, Facout is not obligated to provide a refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of our services or products.
